There are so many things to think about when planning your wedding that many couples forget to think about the simplest things on their actual wedding day.
Here are my top 5 wedding day tips to help you out on your big day:
- Have someone who you know takes good photos to take some of you on the sly during your ceremony. It’s likely that your registrar will tell everyone to keep their phones away, either for the sake of the venue or the photographer. However, this is the photo that is usually the first one to be uploaded the next day to your socials and if no one takes one, there’s none to upload!
- Make sure your table cloths are steamed/ironed before your suppliers arrive. This can literally make or break a room. You wouldn’t wear a creased dress, don’t have creased linen!
- Turn around on the toilet in your wedding dress to have a wee! It’s the simplest way!
- Have someone put your bag with emergency lipgloss etc at your table so it’s there for when you get to your seat.
- Have someone save you some canapés! It’s likely you’ll miss them during your photos and it’s also likely that you haven’t eaten much all day.
