Working out how to sit your guests together to make sure everyone has an amazing, drama free day is known to be one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding.
Here are some different ideas to help with the process:
- Use colour coding: Code your guests based on how you know them. E.g. family: purple, friends: orange, work: green. Put all your guests on to the correct colour post it note and then draw out your reception layout. You can now easily move the post-it notes around from table to table.
- Consider grouping children: Depending on age, you may want to put the children on a kid’s table to save on space.
- If you’re good with excel, click on this link and download the document to generate a table plan. https://www.contextures.com/excelseatingplanguesttable.html
- For a more relaxed feel, consider trestle tables rather than round tables. This means less decisions on how to organise guests too!
I hope this was helpful.
