Struggling To Write Your Seating Plan?

Working out how to sit your guests together to make sure everyone has an amazing, drama free day is known to be one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding.

Here are some different ideas to help with the process:

  1. Use colour coding: Code your guests based on how you know them. E.g. family: purple, friends: orange, work: green. Put all your guests on to the correct colour post it note and then draw out your reception layout. You can now easily move the post-it notes around from table to table.
  2. Consider grouping children: Depending on age, you may want to put the children on a kid’s table to save on space.
  3. If you’re good with excel, click on this link and download the document to generate a table plan. https://www.contextures.com/excelseatingplanguesttable.html
  4. For a more relaxed feel, consider trestle tables rather than round tables. This means less decisions on how to organise guests too!

I hope this was helpful.

As always, if you are still in need of a stylist, I would love to chat with you.
