The September sunshine has arrived and it came in perfect timing for Jade and Jack’s wedding day.
They married at the Faversham in Leeds, a quirky venue with an industrial feel but which also feels stylish at the same time. The lovely Jess showed me through the venue and we began with the ceremony room in the conservatory.
Jade and Jack had opted for all pinks for their wedding styling. Jade envisioned a variety of pinks so we pulled in the colour through the chair drapes, styling only the aisle end chairs and used lots of draping on the archway at the end of the aisle. The pinks tied in with the decorative flooring at the Faversham and the greenery hanging from the ceiling created the exact vibe that the bride and groom were looking for.
In the reception room we dressed the trestle tables with a variety of pink table runners, taper candles and charger plates. Jade brought along her own table florals and place names and the room looked simply fabulous.
As a stylist I often miss the best parts of the wedding, I don’t always see the whole room come together and I never get to see the bride or wedding party. (Maybe I need to become a wedding crasher!) Anyway, on this occasion I did get to watch the short video by David Spink Photography and I must say, Jade looked bloody gorgeous!
